The First Flame of Remembrance lit at Alappuzha

The first Flame of Remembrance, a Golden Jubilee project of the OBA was ignited by the batch of 1988. Old Students of the batch got together at Alappuzha on 16 July 2011 to light a torch to remember their departed batch mates, Flg. Offr. Nevil Benedict (Roll No. 1838), Mr. M Nagaraj (Roll No. 1851) and Mr. V Manoj Kumar (Roll No. 1881). 18 members of the ’88 batch and their families gathered and lit the Flame and observed a minute silence in the memory of three of their class mates.

The Flame is held aloft by the 1988 batch School Captain ( Kurien Antony), Vice Captains( Kochumon C Thomas and KM Santhosh) and OBA Joint Secy (Girish Kumar).
